Erin first began her teaching career under Patty K.’s leadership, assisting with beginner classes as a high school student. This experience instilled a great passion for teaching those who loved Irish Dance as much as her.

In 2022, Erin extended her love of Irish dance by becoming a certified adjudicator of Irish dance competitions, where she applies her years of experience as both dancer and teacher.

Year before, in 2014, after retiring from competitive dance, she became a certified teacher with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha and joined the Lenihan Faculty. Erin s a member of The New England Irish Dance Teachers Association, The Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America, and An Coimisiun Dublin, Ireland. As a Lenihan student Erin enjoyed a successful competitive dancing career: attaining the status of New England Regional Oireachtas Champion in 2014.

Achievements
  • Placed top 5 in New England for 11 years, 7 of which within the top 3
    Qualified 13 times to represent the Lenihan School and the New England region at the World Championships
  • Earned numerous world medals in both solo and ceili (team) dancing categories
  • Achieved top 20 placements at the Great Britain and North American Championships, as well as All Ireland overall and solo round medals
